We depend on credit for so many things in our livesTuesday Mar 09, 2010
We depend on credit for so many things in our life. We use it to buy things that we cannot afford at the time, getting loans to pay for school, opening up a business, purchasing a home or car. By determining what your credit score is, this will help you to see which of these dreams will eventually become a reality.
Your credit report contains a history of how much credit you currently have, how you have been paying your bills and anything that affects your credit. Your future depends on 3 little digits, which the higher the number, the better your credit score is. Lenders really take notice of those 3 digits to see how likely you are to repay the loan and if you are responsible enough to make timely payments. The worse your credit score is, the more you’ll have to pay if you get a loan or you might not get a loan at all.
You might not realize it now but everything you do affects your credit score. If you miss a lot of payments or make late payments, you are potentially messing up your future. You want to have your credit score checked out once a year, just to make sure everything looks good. You can then see if you need to work on your credit or if you are okay to kick back and relax. Get focused now and remember that what you do now can either benefit or damage your future.
