I need your help. I am a sophomore in college and I am struggling financially. I need to take out a loan but I don’t really know how to go about it. I’m not sure what to look for and I don’t want to go so far into debt once I graduate that I am worse off than I am now.

I am looking for a student loan that will give me a couple thousand dollars for my second semester. I have a job but I hardly get any hours and I’m already struggling with my classes and I can’t afford to get a second job. Plus, I don’t get any help from my parents so I need an answer to my problem asap.

I want to be able to pay off my student loan once I graduate. That way I won’t have to worry about paying money back right away. Also, I don’t want to be bombarded with outrageous fees or interest. Are there student loans out there that don’t require payment until after you graduate? And if I have to pay any kind of fees or interest do I have to pay that when I start paying my entire loan off? Also, what do banks look for when giving someone a loan because I’m not sure if I’ll qualify?

Any advice that anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated. I would like to get this taken care of as soon as possible. In the meantime I’m going to research as much as I can on CampusRd.com.
